I am a health policy researcher studying maternal health, health system structures, and causal inference methods. Currently, I am a Faculty Fellow at Brown University in the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice.
I received my PhD in Health Policy (Methods for Policy Research Track) from Harvard University, where I was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. I earned a BS in Neuroscience from Duke University. Prior to graduate school, I was a fellow at the National Institutes of Health Department of Bioethics, where I studied the ethics of genomic research and reproductive technologies and published multiple first authored papers in top clinical and bioethics journals. At the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, I worked on projects in biomedical innovation and regulatory science, and organized FDA-stakeholder workshops and public meetings.
